Supremely positioned on the shores of Lake Tinaroo, The Edge provides absolute waterfront views and lifestyle for up to 20 guests.

Every facet of The Edge has been designed to maximise its stunning location and your privacy and relaxation. Inside, floor to ceiling glass doors offer uninterrupted views of the Lake from the open-plan living, dining and kitchen whilst outside, the large timber deck invites you to sink into a comfortable lounge as you watch the sun slide beneath the rolling hills of the Cairns Tablelands.

The Edge is luxury, executive accommodation in a stunning lakeside location and is only 7 minutes from Yungaburra's restaurants and shops.

The innovative design of The Edge provides communal social/living spaces, whilst also allowing for privacy in your own unit or deck. This makes it perfect for a family holiday, weekend getaway with friends or corporate retreat.

Fully-self contained, The Edge is just one hour from Cairns (seven minutes by helicopter) and is the ultimate Cairns Tablelands escape, providing a destination that is cooler than the coast!
Dining Main House
This is The Edge's command centre. Featuring an open plan kitchen, lounge and dining, the main house is luxuriously appointed with all the comforts of home.

Expansive floor to ceiling glass doors provide stunning views of Lake Tinaroo and access to the covered timber deck, which invites you to sit back, relax and rejuvenate on one of the comfortable lounges or day beds. With its thoughtful design, tasteful decorations and creature comforts, you won't ever want to leave The Edge's main house.

  • Open plan: kitchen, dining and living areas.
  • Two bedrooms: king and queen beds.
  • Kitchen: stainless steel appliances; microwave; stove/oven; dishwasher; fridge/freezer; juicer; cutlery and crockery for 24 guests; glasses for red and white wine, cocktails and champagne.
  • Dining: the interior dining seats 12 with additional seating on the lounge and exterior deck.
  • Lounge: comfortable lounges; 50" LCD flat screen; DVD; Austar; Stereo; CDs; board games; books.
  • Exterior Deck: outdoor dining table; two lounges; coffee table; bar fridge; 6 burner BBQ.

Private Suites
The Edge has three private suites: the perfect place to escape for some solitude. Well appointed with luxurious fixtures and fittings, each of the units has their own private deck, which is furnished with your very own lounge and day bed. Inside you are pampered with your own, indulgent spa and king-sized bed, which offer amazing views over the calm, lake waters of Lake Tinaroo. The units are situated on the ends of the main house and are connected via a covered pathway running the entire length of The Edge. Private Suites features include:
  • Attached to the main house, access via covered rear pathway.
  • King Beds: king split.
  • Bathroom: shower, spa and toilet.
  • Amenities: fridge and tea & coffee.
  • Other: private decks with lounges or a day bed; fans.
Balcony and view
Bunkhouse
The Edge even has a bunkhouse! ~ This is the perfect playroom and bedroom for the children, or chill out and crash room for weary adults. Complete with 10 king single bunk beds; the bunkhouse has its own amenities and entry point.
